CONFIRMING THE FAITH OF ADOLESCENTS

Given below is a synopsis of one of Sister Kieran's past presentations on Confirmation.

No matter at what age they celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation, adolescents need help in “confirming” the faith of their Baptism. This workshop will deal with the faith of adolescents and show how the entire youth ministry program can support teens in the life-long process of confirming faith. The workshop will include an overview of the current debate concerning confirmation and offer some practical suggestions to help confirmation program directors and teachers.
